Service Brakes, Air › Supply › Hoses, Lines/Piping, And Fittings
International Motors, LLC (International) is recalling certain 2026-2027 HV vehicles. The service brake may take longer than expected to release. As such, these vehicles may fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 121, "Air Brake Systems."
A delayed brake release can increase the risk of crash.
Dealers will remove the 5/8” air line and replace it with a 3/4” air line, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 22, 2026. Owners may contact International's customer service at 1-800-448-7825. International's number for this recall is 26506. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning June 29, 2026.

International Motors, LLC (International) is recalling certain 2026-2027 HV vehicles. The service brake may take longer than expected to release. As such, these vehicles may fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 121, "Air Brake Systems."
A delayed brake release can increase the risk of crash.
Dealers will replace the 5/8” air line with a 3/4” air line, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 13, 2026. Owners may contact International's customer service at 1-800-448-7825. International's number for this recall is 26506.
Electrical System › 12v/24v/48v Battery › Cables
International Motors, LLC (International) is recalling certain 2021, 2023-2027 MV, and 2026-2027 HV vehicles. The battery interconnect cable may contact the auxiliary stud and hold down bracket, causing a short circuit.
A short circuit increases the risk of a fire.
Dealers will install plastic saddles onto the positive interconnect cable, install wind laces and a J-bolt between each battery, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed October 26, 2026. Owners may contact International customer service at 1-800-448-7825. International's number for this recall is 26510. This recall replaces and expands NHTSA Recall 25V534. Vehicles previously repaired under 25V534 will need the new remedy completed.
Visibility › Windshield Wiper/Washer
International Motors, LLC (International) is recalling certain 2027 HV, HX, LT, MV, and RH trucks. A retaining nut in the wiper assembly may loosen, causing both windshield wipers to disconnect from the motor.
Inoperative windshield wipers can reduce the driver's visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.
Dealers will tighten the wiper motor drive nut and three motor mounting bolts, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed October 5, 2026. Owners may contact International customer service at 1-331-332-5000. International's number for this recall is 26513.
