2025 Coachmen Catalina recalls

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2025 Coachmen Catalina travel trailers. The Federal Placard label lists an incorrect vehicle dry weight.

Referencing an incorrect label may lead to unintentionally overloading the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2025 Coachmen Catalina ACAT35FME travel trailers. The towing coupler may be underrated for the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of the trailer.

An underrated towing coupler can break, allowing the trailer to detach from the tow vehicle and increasing the risk of a crash.

Dealers will replace the coupler, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 2, 2025. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 574-825-4995. Forest River's number for this recall is 205-1897.

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2017-2025 Coachmen Catalina, 2020-2025 Aurora, and 2025 Puma travel trailers. The Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) on the Federal placard may exceed the safety chain rating. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) numbers 110, "Tire Selection and Rims" and 120, "Wheels and Rims - Other Than Passenger Cars."

An incorrect weight rating may lead to unintentionally overloading the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Forest River will mail owners a corrected Federal Placard with application instructions, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 24, 2025. Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain Coachmen Catalina BCAT154RBX travel trailers. The wastewater holding tank pipe may not extend to the exterior of the vehicle, allowing sewer gas to enter the cabin.

Sewer gas inside the cabin increases the risk of injury.

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Coachmen Catalina, Forest River Aurora, Cascade, Cedar Creek, Cherokee, Sandpiper, Sierra, 2025 Campsite Reserve, Impression, Pause, Puma, Sabre, Salem, Vengeance, and Wildwood fifth wheel and travel trailers, equipped with a removable step assembly. The clip-on bracket mounting bolts may come loose, allowing the steps to detach.

Steps that detach while in use increase the risk of injury.

Dealers will inspect and repair or replace the clip-on bracket as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 28, 2025. The front exterior accent lights, awning, and auto-leveling system may be incorrectly wired and not have proper over current circuit protection.

Wiring without circuit protection may become damaged and short circuit, increasing the risk of a fire.

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Forest River Aurora, Coachmen Catalina, 2026 Coachmen Viking, Coachmen Clipper, 2016-2026 Wildwood, and Salem recreational trailers. The distribution panel wire may be connected to the battery without over current protection.

Unprotected wiring can increase the risk of a fire.
