Feb 6, 2004
Summary

ON CERTAIN MOTOR HOMES, THE WATER HEATER WAS INSTALLED UNDER THE SLIDE-OUT, WHICH MADE IT POSSIBLE FOR FUMES TO ENTER THE COACH WHEN THE WATER HEATER IS LIT AND THE COACH IS PARKED WITH THE SLIDE-OUT EXTENDED.

Risk

THIS CAN CAUSE FUMES TO COME UP INSIDE THE COACH, INCREASING THE RISK OF INJURY TO THE VEHICLE OCCUPANTS.

Remedy

DEALERS WILL RELOCATE THE WATER HEATER TO THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE MOTOR HOME. OWNER NOTIFICATION BEGAN ON JUNE 30, 2004. OWNERS SHOULD CONTACT MONACO AT 1-800-685-6545.
