Why some rows have fewer numbers
RecallSight does not fabricate zeroes for years it has not queried yet. An official vPIC model year can exist before its recall, complaint, TSB or investigation evidence has been fetched into RecallSight.
Older model years
vPIC's make/year model endpoint covers model years after 1995. RecallSight also preserves any older years found in its evidence index. The year directory continues to expose NHTSA's historical recall/complaint taxonomy.
