What can happen

Safety consequence

FUEL TANKS ON VEHICLES MAY EXHIBIT FUEL LEAKAGE WHEN COMPLETELY FILLED BECAUSE THE LUGGAGE PARTITION ATTACHMENT SCREWS HAVE PENETRATED THE TOP OF THE TANK.

What fixes it

Official remedy

THE DEALER WILL REMOVE THE EXISTING FUEL TANK, GRIND OFF THE SCREW TIPS IN THE AREA OF THE FUEL TANK AND INSTALL A NEW TANK AT NO CHARGE.
