REPEATED CONTACT OF THE AIR BRAKE HOSE ON THE DRIVE LINE MAY CAUSE THE AIR BRAKE HOSE TO RUPTURE REDUCING THE BRAKING CAPACITY WHICH COULD RESULT IN A VEHICLE CRASH.

BLUE BIRD WILL NOTIFY OWNERS AND REPAIR THE BUSES FREE OF CHARGE. THE SAFETY RECALL BEGAN ON SEPTEMBER 23, 2009. OWNERS MAY CONTACT BLUE BIRD AT 1-478-422-2242.
