Official remedy

DEALERS WILL REMOVE THE FRONT THREADED FASTENER OF THE PARALEVER LINK AND REPLACE IT WITH AN IMPROVED FASTENER. THE RECALL BEGAN ON JANUARY 7, 2009. OWNERS MAY CONTACT BMW AT 1-800-831-1117.
