Safety consequence

THIS STANDARD SPECIFIES REQUIREMENTS FOR TIRE SELECTION TO PREVENT TIRE OVERLOADING AND FOR MOTOR HOME/RECREATION VEHICLE TRAILER LOAD CARRYING CAPACITY INFORMATION. A MISPRINTED LABEL WOULD LEAD TO IMPROPER VEHICLE LOADING SPECIFICATIONS OR TIRE INFLATION WHICH COULD RESULT IN A TIRE FAILURE, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.

What fixes it

Official remedy

DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE CERTIFICATION AND TIRE INFORMATION LABELS WITH THE CORRECT LABELS. THE RECALL BEGAN ON OCTOBER 13, 2008. OWNERS MAY CONTACT VIKING RV AT 1-800-368-2829.
