What can happen

Safety consequence

AS A RESULT, AN AIR LEAK IN THE SECONDARY OR PRIMARY SYSTEM MAY RESULT IN THE PARK BRAKES INADVERTENTLY APPLYING, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.

What fixes it

Official remedy

DEALERS WILL ADD A CHECK VALVE TO THE SECONDARY SUPPLY PORT OF THE SR-7 SPRING BRAKE MODULATING VALVE AND WILL ALSO REPAIR THE SR-7 VALVE BY APPLYING A CHECK VALVE REPAIR KIT AS REQUIRED FOR THE BENDIX SAFETY RECALL (PLEASE SEE 07E-037). THE RECALL BEGAN ON APRIL 15, 2008. OWNERS MAY CONTACT MACK AT 1-800-528-6586.
