IF A VEHICLE'S WHEEL HAS A CRACKED OR BROKEN WHEEL NUT CONDITION AND THE WHEEL BECOMES LOOSE AND FALLS OFF THE VEHICLE WITHOUT WARNING, A CRASH COULD OCCUR.
What fixes it
Official remedy
DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE ATTACHING WHEEL NUTS. THE RECALL BEGAN ON APRIL 18, 2008. OWNERS MAY CONTACT SOUTHEAST TOYOTA AT 1-800-301-6859.
