Safety consequence

FAILURE OF THE EXTERNAL WARNING LIGHTS TO REMAIN ON DURING THE LOADING OR UNLOADING PROCESS COULD POSSIBLY RESULT IN A STUDENT BEING STRUCK BY A PASSING MOTORIST WHILE BOARDING OR EXITING THE BUS.

Official remedy

FREIGHTLINER WILL NOTIFY OWNERS AND REPAIR THE BUSES FREE OF CHARGE. THE RECALL BEGAN ON JANUARY 21, 2008. OWNERS MAY CONTACT THOMAS BUILT AT 336-889-4871 OR CONTACT FREIGHTLINER AT 800-547-0712.
