What can happen

Safety consequence

UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS, THE PARK BRAKE OR WORK BRAKE MAY FAIL ALLOWING THE VEHICLE TO ROLL, POSSIBLY RESULTING IN PERSONAL INJURY. ALSO, THE STOP LAMPS MAY INTERMITTENTLY FAIL TO ILLUMINATE WHEN THE SERVICE BRAKE IS APPLIED.

Official remedy

FREIGHTLINER WILL NOTIFY OWNER AND REPAIR THE BUSES FREE OF CHARGE. THE RECALL BEGAN ON MAY 24, 2007. OWNERS CAN CONTACT FREIGHTLINER'S CUSTOMER ASSISTANCE CENTER AT 800-385-4357.
