DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE BALL SOCKET ASSEMBLIES. THIS CAMPAIGN WILL SUPERSEDE NHTSA RECALL NOS. 01V-140-005 (MACK SC0270) AND 00V-246-103 (MACK SC0262). OWNER NOTIFICATION BEGAN DECEMBER 27, 2002. OWNERS WHO TAKE THEIR VEHICLES TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON AN AGREED UPON SERVICE DATE AND DO NOT RECEIVE THE FREE REMEDY WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME SHOULD CONTACT MACK AT 610-709-3337.
